Check out Battleship concept art by Jock!
The movie Battleship sank at the box office back in 2012. Based on the popular Hasbro game it did well enough to cover the $200 million budget, but just couldn't get a footing in the U.S. market. Reviews were mixed with Hollywood Reporter summing it up by saying, "impressive visual effects and director Peter Berg's epic set pieces fight against an armada of cinematic clichés and some truly awful dialogue." As is often the case, unpopular movies often have amazing artwork developed behind-the-scenes. One of the artists that contributed to the impressive visuals is Jock and he shared some of his designs in his portfolio.
Mark "Jock" Simpson is a professional concept artist who's worked on Hollywood projects like Batman Begins, Dune and Dredd.
