Yes, I despise the department stores that put up their Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving. I can't stand to hear jingle bells in the craft store isle while I'm picking out my Halloween pumpkins. And yet, this year, I have decided to get a jump start on decorating. We are heading to Boston for Thanksgiving and I know that after next week Christmas will be here before I turn around twice. And I'm hosting my entire family this year. On both sides. So I have cheated a bit and pulled up some of the decorations from the basement to get a jump start. I promise I'm not actually going to turn the tree lights on until after turkey day. Shhhhhhh.....don't tell anyone, but this is what's happening in our Vivid Hue Home so far for the holidays.... |
