Kelly Wearstler Sweeps Bel Air

Happy Valentine's Day Vivid Hue Home!   

Kelly Wearstler is at it again. She teamed with M. Brian Tichenor of Tichenor & Thorp Architects to gut the three-story structure, add 3,000 square feet of living space and completely contemporize this home in Bel Air. This is the result. 

This is the teenage daughter's bathroom with inlade marble walls and 1960's sconces by Vico Magistretti. 

This is the daughter's bedroom.  The four poster bed is by Paul Evans. The wallcovering is custom made by Porter Teleo.  The ceiling fixture and dressers are by JF Chen.  The rug is custom by Rug Company.   

(PS- I hope the parents don't expect their daughter to move out anytime soon because with digs like this, she's not going anywhere!)

 This is the wife's office.  Raspberry chairs were custom made by Wearstler.  Rug is custom by the Rug Company.  Desk is also custom by Weastler.  Love the powerful statement the rug makes against the feminine powder pink walls. 

 This is the wife's dressing room (I'll move into just this room!).  The walls are gold-leaf wood panels inset with antique mirror and trimmed with antique brass. 

This is the master bedroom.  The bed is custom made. Use of brass is prevailent in this room as it is throughout the house. 

This is the master suite's striped vestibule which is adorned with an Italian vintage chandelier and Stilnov sconces. 

The lanterns by Blend Interiors are to die for!  The kitchen table was designed by Kelly herself. 

The family room has pyramid panel walls and a custom made tiger velvet couch.
